Having started with the acoustic guitar when he was 10, his agile finger-picking and uplifting rhythms from his tropical land delivers a warm but intense live peformance.

Since his coming to the UK in 2002, Brazilian guitarist/composer Thyagi Das has partnered with many talented musicians, such as Brazilian singer Cibelle, Spanish guitarist Eduardo Niebla, Indian tabla player Sirishkumar, and others.

Conscious education speaks deeply to Thyagi, who has traveled and lived amongst native and alternative communities experiencing distinct ways of being, creating and living. Creative workshops are therefore also part of his music expression.
